Prince Pipes Fittings Pvt Ltd - JTCPL Projects
THE DESIGN BRIEF
To create a contemporary workspace within a modest budget. To plan for possible expansion in the future with least disruption. To create acoustic harmony and an aesthetic impact that complements the client brand which is a household name in India.
The primary purpose of the space was to portray the client’s global image of sophistication and progressive thinking. The colours and tones were to capture the firm’s ideology that is based on organic growth patterns while retaining a contemporary and urban sensibility.
The workspace was planned based on the four parameters of being collaborative, informative, generative and evaluative. Layouts mapping multiple hierarchies and modularity were created and planning for a future expansion of approximately 30% was done. Materials were selected keeping in mind ease of maintenance. Together with the client, we embarked on this journey of creating a sustainable design, based on organic growth pattern that captures the firm’s ideology. Our focus was on the well being of users, to create a quality space that helped increased productivity. The concept evoked “Foliage” as an overall entity and uses it both as a design motif and an architectural guide.
